with pulpo L.O.V.E. BANK, pulpo makes its debut in the city of Milan outside of the fair grounds during Salone del Mobile for Milano Design Week 2022 at 5VIE.

In the heart of Milan’s financial district, pulpo L.O.V.E. BANK – pulpo’s biggest event yet – transformed a former financial institution into a one-of-a-kind showroom: Converging an old bank into a stylized installation of its latest designs and new products the brand also offered an extensive event program of talks, get-togethers and parties.

A large 300 sqm open space allows for the avantgarde brand to run wild, using rough and solid, yet shiny materials as a backdrop to the latest products by designers such as Sebastian HerknerStudio BrichetZieglerJulia ChiaramontiNatascha Madeiski and Visser&Meijwaard. Yet another special surprise awaits on the lower level: Secret underground vaults with bright media installations. A bank unlike any other!

A selection of things to discover at pulpo L.O.V.E. BANK

Additionally, work by renowned artist Julia Emslander will form the backdrop for our silver themed interior.

It’s all about L.O.V.E.

pulpo L.O.V.E. BANK was located in front of the infamous L.O.V.E. sculpture by Maurizio Cattelan on Piazza Affari.

“Officially, its name is L.O.V.E. – so it stands for love – but everyone can read between the lines and take away the message they see for themselves.”
– Maurizio Cattelan
L.O.V.E. is officially an acronym standing for liberta, odio, vendetta, and eternita, translating to ‘freedom, hate, revenge, and eternity.’
