The decorative table lamps series designed by Ferréol Babin:
Smooth and rough at the same time – clean lines meet soft curves. Ferréol Babin‘s design magma for pulpo effortlessly combines obvious opposites.
With a special glaze, the lamp’s solid and angular ceramic base is reminiscent of hardened magma from the depths of the earth’s core. At the same time, a gently rounded, hand-blown glass sphere emits soft, indirect light and seems to float above the base. A visual eye-catcher in any room.
magma is all about contrast. Smooth against rough, light against dark, angled lines against soft curves. Much like its namesake, the magma series of table lamps appear as if they have emerged from deep within the earth’s centre, topped with a light touch of illumination.
