The German artist completed an apprenticeship as a turner before studying design and fine arts in Münster and Wuppertal, where he now lives and works. Treindl has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions, often as participatory, process-oriented performances with a transitory character. He has received many awards and grants, including the German Prize of Northwest Art 2019, Künstlerdorf Schöppingen, Kunststiftung NRW, and the Stiftung Kunstfonds 2020.
