Natascha Madeiski’s ceramic lights series Flaming Stars is a lively mashup of Memphis design with Memphis music - hence the product names of Elvis’ greatest hits. The second meaning of Memphis is quoted by the decoration: Variously colored objects or random findings represent the notorious Eighties design movement from Milan, each one a unique foundling of creative synergy. (A special edition is held in glazed silver/platin tones)
